What inspired you to start your business?
Mark and I could see that the air conditioning industry lacked very few quality companies. We had been trained by a market leader in the industry and knew we could take on the challenge to establish a market leading company in Perth.

What were the biggest challenges you faced with your bookkeeping or financial management before working with us?
Before having a bookkeeper, it was a challenge keeping on top of cash flow and bills. Once we set up the systems with Elevate I could feel confident on our cash flow and forecasting projections in the business.

How did those challenges affect your day-to-day operations or your business growth?
We did not know how much money we were making or if it was the correct move to keep expanding the business. Having a solid bookkeeper has allowed us to grow the business with confidence.

What made you decide to seek professional bookkeeping help?
Our accountant at RSM referred us on as my time was being spent on tasks that we could easily outsource to a bookkeeper.

What were your initial expectations when starting to work with us?
I thought I would never have to open Xero again! Less time spent in Xero, more time working on the business!

How has our bookkeeping support addressed your challenges? Can you share specific examples?
We have been able to set up procedures for our own admin to work closely with the Elevate bookkeeper and this has allowed us to open Xero at any time knowing all the data is correct. We know we are able to pull up reports at any time to analyse different parts of the business.

How has having professional bookkeeping changed the way you plan for the future of your business?
I would not have been able to grow my business to its current size and as quick as I have without the valuable data that the Elevate team provide by keeping our Xero file up to date. Xero is the backbone of our business where I make all our decisions. I can trust the data is correct and accurate due to Elevate.
